The first year we worked the vineyard at Sleepy Hollow was a warm year, with abnormally high temperatures in June followed by a warm and dry harvest season.
This Pinot noir lands on the riper side of red fruits in flavor with moderate acidity and soft phenolics leading to great volume in body without racy tannins.
Twenty-five percent whole cluster bin fermentations; 3 of 4 bins fermented on native yeasts.
Minimal-intervention wines and ciders, handcrafted from the finest local fruit.
