A cider in support of racial equity and justice The BIG Project: An annual collaboration from Black Diamond Cider and Redbyrd Orchard Cider. This cider is made with love and care in support of the fight for racial equity and justice. 100% of the proceeds from BIG go to 2 local (to us) non profit organizations who's work we admire. In the Cidery: A field blend of Harry Master's Jersey and Wickson Crab from Black Diamond Cider pressed in early November, combined with cider made from Goldrush, Brown's Apple, Zestar, Harry Master's Jersey, Stokes Red, Liberty and Rubinett from Redbyrd pressed in October and December. Bottled in October 2022. In the glass: Aromas of cinnamon. Balanced body with notes of honey.

Black Diamond Cider was started as a family-owned orchard on the west slope of Cayuga Lake in Upstate NY. We grow all of the fruit that goes into our ciders. The orchard contains over 100 varieties of apples and pears—many of them rare heirlooms and European varieties selected especially for their cider making qualities.
Our ciders are made in small batches using traditional cider making methods.
Each of our ciders is a unique blend that expresses the diversity of flavor and aroma found in our apples.
