Kingston Black is an English bittersharp apple, often displaying smoky and earthy characteristics that has long been recognized for its potential to make a balanced and complex cider that stands on its own.
In the cidery: Pressed 3 months after harvest, DV10 yeast.
In the glass: White grape and stone fruit on the nose, green apple, slate and a subtle smoky finish with lingering soft tannins.

Black Diamond Cider was started as a family-owned orchard on the west slope of Cayuga Lake in Upstate NY. We grow all of the fruit that goes into our ciders. The orchard contains over 100 varieties of apples and pears—many of them rare heirlooms and European varieties selected especially for their cider making qualities.
Our ciders are made in small batches using traditional cider making methods.
