Harvested and pressed by hand, local apples from a small orchard in the Hayward Hills, our hometown. Including a blend of Newtown Pippin, Winter Banana, Mutsu, Jonathan, Hudson Golden Gem and Crab Apples. Aged in French oak barrels for 7 months, unfiltered and unpasteurized. (45 cases)
Akin to a classic French style cider with hints of Calvados. A complete mouth experience; juicy mid-palate flavors that end clean and tannic.Though its beginnings are humble, this cider edges its way to sophistication. Subdued dried gardenia flowers and fruity apples, pleasant flavors of yeast, long aged lees and savory notes of dry neutral wine barrels.
