Herein awaits an 80% Marquette, 20% Frontenac Noir blend sourced from three different Vermont vineyards over the course of three vintages. Aged from 2-5 years, half of the wine making up this blend matured in neutral flex tanks while the other half matured in neutral french oak barrels. Upon blending and bottling, a full-moon inspired secondary fermentation induced a lively carbonation highlighting it’s crisp, refreshing acidity. Mångata (pronounced moon-gah-tah) is a Swedish word that portrays the glimmering luminosity of our Earth’s moon, cast upon a body of water. When said body of water is a frothy ocean, the essence of this wine is reflected - with bright effervescence rising from a deep-dark purple depth. Serve chilled.
Fable Farm & Fermentory is a farm-based winery producing aged wines and vinegars. We work with local flora, microorganisms, and the overall Ecology to co-create the character of our living wines. We produce wine primarily from apples, pears, grapes, honey, tree saps, and the blending thereof, while sometimes incorporating other small fruits and herbs that we glean and grow in the verdant foothills of central Vermont.
