Shooting star is a series of hand-crafted ciders from 100% local North Carolina apples. Like a brilliant streak across the night sky, these cider are beautiful, but fleeting given their small batch size.
Shooting Star #19, is a blend of southern heirloom apples, including Limbertwig, Arkansas Black, GoldRush and Hewe's Crab. This cuvée offers rich flavors of applesauce, Valencia orange, baked lemon and a wiff of whiping cream. Medium tannins are matched with balanced acidity and a long, lingering, clean finish. Pair with fried chicken, roasted pork, creamed spinach or goat cheese.
