The grape Gods blessed us with these amazing Old Vine Zinfandel grapes from Lodi. This inky, full bodied Old Vine Zinfandel starts off notably jammy with ample dark fruit – plum, blackberry, black cherry – on both the nose and entry palate, leading to a dry finish with moderate American and French oak and subtle tannins. She’s drinking great now and will continue to develop in the bottle over the next 1-2 years. This wine would pair quite well with rich deserts like cheesecake or dark chocolate.
