An energetic, detailed & structured wine which showcases the intensity of our rocky soils, Camaraderie is a lucid expression of the potential of New Hampshire to produce compelling wine.
A fruit-forward blend of 92% Marquette and 8% L'Acadie Blanc, grown in sandy soils studded with decomposing iron-rich stones in Concord, NH, this wine is full-bodied & deep, notes of cherry & plum with refined acidity to keep the wine balanced.
2020 was an exceptional vintage in New Hampshire, with drought conditions resulting in low yields and very ripe grapes, which were handpicked and foot crushed in mid-September, and fermented partial whole cluster in open top containers with native yeasts. After pressing, the wine was aged in glass demijohns for 10 months before bottling via peristaltic pump and gravity bottler.
This wine can be drank now, or cellared over the next 3-6 years.
