Coureur de Bois (pronounced: koo-ree-er duh bwah) is the Eighth Reserve Batch in our OAK SPIRITS COLLECTION. This cider/wine has been aged for over a year, and placed in an imported 500 Liter Puncheon that previously held premier French Cognac. The flavor of the Cognac overtones fully engulf the apples and maple syrup with complimentary blending. A must try - this is one of our best to date.
Tasting Notes: Coureur de Bois is a still, dry cider that tastes like sipping brandy, but drinks like a cider. With an aroma of a caramel apple, the initial taste carries hints of jasmine, iris and passion fruit with an earthy, cigar box finish. You will be surprised that hard cider can taste like this!
