The most widely planted grape in the world is actually the product of a chance crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Cabernet Sauvignon tends to produce full bodied wines, high in tannin and acidity which allows this wine to be ageable. Fruit forward with tell tale black currant, cassis, spiciness with firm yet not austere tannins. After aging the oakiness should turn to cedar notes. Typicity abounds in this bottling.
