Bold, sweet and juicy, this red pommeau is our take on the traditional drink from Normandy. Fresh-pressed juice is fermented a very short time, arrested to retain its sweetness, then stowed away to age in oak barrels. The result is a dessert wine rich in bold fruit flavors. A blend of red flesh apple varieties yields bright flavors of berries and melon that burst through a delicious jammy sweetness. Extended barrel maturation builds in layers of mild vanilla, caramel, and spice.
