Bold, sweet and juicy, this pommeau is our take on the traditional drink from Normandy. Fresh-pressed juice is fermented a very short time, arrested to retain its sweetness, then stowed away to age in oak barrels. The result is a dessert wine rich in bold fruit flavors. Kingston Black yields a beautifully rounded, full fruit character with an enjoyable jammy nature over mild tannin. Extended maturation in the barrel imparts layers of mild vanilla, spice and caramel.
