Columbia River Gorge, Oregon
Basajaun translates to “Lord of the Woods” in Euskara, the Basque language, and references a Sasquatch-like, forest dwelling wild man from Basque folklore. Inspired by this free roaming wild man, Basajaun is an annual exploration of new flavors. Basajaun is our Special Project cider. This year’s Basajaun explores the unique flavors of high-altitude apples grown on volcanic soils at a single orchard in Parkdale, Oregon.
