Spiritopia Apple 'Supercider' is unique, built like a port wine only with Pacific NW apples instead of grapes. The apples are juiced and fermented slowly to enhance the aroma. Part of the hard cider is pot distilled and aged in charred American oak barrels to give a bourbon-like flavor. Once the brandy is ready, the Supercider is made by carefully blending the hard cider, brandy, and fresh apple juice. Its sweet aroma gives way to a woody bite from the brandy and finishes with a silky touch of apple. At 21% alcohol it is perfect for sipping neat chilled or mixed with fresh apple cider. Made with only one ingredient, there is the equivalent of 30 apples in one 375 ml bottle of Supercider.
