This 2017 edition of our flagship cider features tannic, bittersweet apples that are blended with carefully selected heirloom and common apples varietals. It is dry, but not parching with a good amount of body and rounded acidity. This cider is blended from multiple batches, including some that have gone through partial malolactic fermentation. Cultivars of apples used in this blend include: (Bittersweet) Ashton Bitter, Chisel Jersey, Dabinett, Ellis Bitter, Yarlington Mill, (Heirloom) Ashmead’s Kernel, Esopus Spitzenburg, Northern Spy, Wickson, (Common) Idared, Shizuka, Pinova, Macoun, and Golden Delicious.
We are a Massachusetts-based craft cider company producing a wide range of ciders focused on apple quality and character. All of our ciders are made with 100% REAL, WHOLE, carefully sourced local apples which are freshly pressed and fermented with care. We never use concentrates, artificial ingredients, or chemically concocted ‘natural’ flavors and our ciders are all naturally gluten-free.
