This cider features Geneva Tremlett's Bitter, a strongly tannic and tart (aka bitter sharp) cider apple blended with Priscilla, a sweet, aromatic American apple.
This winter’s limited release while dry has more fruity and floral notes than past harvests. Aromas are pome fruits, apple skin, lemon, and honeysuckle. On the palate, acid, and tannins are well balanced, with flavors of green grape, apricot, and subtle minerality. This is a great cider on its own, in cocktails, or with lightly flavored dishes such as shrimp cocktail, oysters, poached white fish, and broiled chicken.
