-Wild Harvested Native Yeast Fermented Perry-
Through research & discovery of historical homesteaded orchards of the Willamette Valley, the origins of the now invasive seedling pear was identified. From the remnants of these long cleared cider orchards grown from pear rootstock has arisen a burgeoning forest of fruit bearing suckers heavy with a diminutive pear containing high levels of acid, sugar & tannin. These abundant wild pears are the perfect candidates for a complex perry with traditional profile. Restoration Perry is a quality embodiment of our mission to provide stewardship of our ecology & use of local resources, as we assist in conservancy via the use of invasive species.
