This cider is a creation of collaboration and partnership with Freeland Spirits in Portland, Oregon. The limited release cider from the 2021 harvest is a co-fermentation of apple and cherry, aged in Freeland Spirits whiskey barrels. A tanic apple base of Dabinett, Porter's Perfection, Brown Snout, and Wickson Crab Apples offers a richness to this cider. Notes of Rainier Cherry and grilled peaches, with a mild whiskey finish.
We are a family farm located on Sauvie Island, just outside Portland, Oregon. Our estate orchard has more than 75 cultivars of apples, plums, pluots, pears, persimmon, and quince. We follow organic and biodynamic practices and implement strategies to enhance soil health and increase the biodiversity of our orchard.
