SR 1 is made with wild apples from the Sullivan/Greene County line. It is extremely sparkling so be ready for a champagne experience when opening this cider!
Our favorite wild and abandoned orchards are in the Catskills watershed. Some of the oldest and most interesting homestead groves are found along the creeks that flow into and out of reservoirs. We forage a lot along the Esopus, Rondout and Neversink creeks. Over two dozen apple varieties went in to each of these three ciders. The three are subtly different, but each batch is bright, complex and exciting!
