A textured, focused expression of Brianna, with notes of citrus peel, bergamot, flint and ripe guava.
This vintage of Summer Land could be classified as an orange wine! The grapes were fermented on skins to help them break down before they were pressed in a manual basket press. Hybrid grapes tend not to hang on to tannin. So, while there is some structure to this wine, it doesn't come across as astringent. The tropical flavors are the star here, and are backed up with a rich texture from barrel aging and malolactic fermentation.
