Pressed from a late summer field blend of Roxbury Russets, Harrison and Grimes Golden apples, this cuvee is dry, complex and earthy with some light barrel aging. A delightful bouquet of pan-fried apples, grapefruit pith and damp earth leads to a mouthful of spiced apples, citrus and a hint of lemongrass. The long, smooth finish pairs well with grilled fish, roast chicken and mushrooms, aged cheese or sweet pototoes.
