The 2021 vintage was defined by a particularly rainy monsoon, which delayed the ripening of this Mourvedre, giving it more hang time to develop complexity and nuance. A savory nose of touch of fruit leather, cranberry, and petrichor leads to vibrant acidity on the palate with notes of ripe strawberry, gamey tannins, and a touch of menthol.
