Pass the Sauce begins as a selected blend of heirloom apples from Glaize orchard in Winchester, VA. After fermenting to dryness in stainless-steel, the cider is transferred to American oak barrels from Bluestone Vineyard where it ages for three months for just a hint of red wine character before it is infused with cranberries. With notes of vanilla, grape skin, and cranberry, pass the sauce drinks like a sparkling oaked rose and is a perfect pairing for your holiday meals with friends and family.
Sage Bird Ciderworks is located in downtown Harrisonburg, VA in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. We use locally-sourced fruit and flavor to produce small-batch, hand-crafted hard cider that honors tradition and welcomes the future.
