The selection of heirloom Michigan apples we chose to craft this sparkling cider create subtle aromas and complex flavors.
Once fermented, the juiceis aged for at least three months in American oak barrels previously used to condition fine bourbon. This adds an intriguing hint of smokiness to every taste. SPIRITED is great for sipping on its own and even better with dishes like smoked fish, barbecue, or sausages.
This cider took Platinum in the Great American Cider Competition this year.
Notes
The hint of sweet/sour smoky bourbon punctuates this bourbon barrel aged cider, which has a slightly buttery mouth feel from having undergone malolactic fermentation. Bottle conditioned using methode champenoise.
