This wine gets its name from its reliance on grapes that are grown right here in the Appalachian High Country AVA. If you’ve ever wondered what the “3300” represents on this label series (this label is also used for our estate wines and sparkling wines), 3300 is the elevation of our estate hillside vineyard and also the average elevation of other vineyards close in proximity to us where we source this local fruit. Comprised of two French American hybrid grapes called Marquette (developed at the University of Minnesota) and Chambourcin (related to the Regent grape) this combination produces a wine that is both medium in tannins and acidity making it quite easy to drink. It’s another staff favorite!
