This native French varietal is the offspring of Chenin Blanc and the lesser known Gouais Blanc. Originally used to make brandy, the Colombard grape has seen a rise in popularity as a crisp, mouth watering, white wine. Lightly sweetened, with a delicate body and exotic fruits this semi-sweet white reminds us of warm, sunny afternoons in the vineyard.
