This harvest of Golden Russet is highly flavored & intense with fruity apple flavor, acid & tannin. We just waved a wand of oak stave over it and yet the oak aroma is the first to hit the senses. Wonderful served with rich dishes like braised lamb shank.
Alpenfire is a certified organic, estate hard cidery. Here on the Olympic Peninsula we have planted just shy of 1,000 English, French and Heirloom apple trees.
Most of these apples have been used for generations in Europe and Colonial America to produce hard cider with tannic and bittersweet characteristics.
