This sweet mead is made from a high buckwheat content honey sourced in our hometown of Valley Center. The honey must was fermented and aged on the lees in a barrel given to us by our friends at Lost Cause Meadery which had contained their peach cobbler bochet. The resulting mead has luscious rounded notes of caramel, peaches, cinnamon, and toasted oak. 34 cases made
We are a regional cider & mead maker located in San Diego County, Ca. We use 100% locally grown and produced, in San Diego County, fruit and honey. We also use natural fermentation in the production of our ciders.
